Who else is good at rocking this “no pants” trend while WFH? Even though the lockdown is lifting, and we get out more, there are still lots of people who work from home and video conferencing all day long, whether it’s through zoom or other platforms.
For those of you, who can still afford to wear joggers (or nothing) below the waist, here are 4 styles which will elevate your zoom fashion:
1. Turtleneck style. Either go all French chic and wear a simple black one or choose a pop of colour – both of these are from Arket.
2. A pussy bow blouse style. As people can’t really see much beyond your neck you might as well go all in and bring some attention to it. These are from Massimo Dutti and The Fold.
3. Pyjama style blouse. Ideally what you wanna do, is roll out of the bed and straight into that zoom meeting – minimum effort required. And with loungewear still on trend that’s easily done. I’m not joking, with some PJ sets you can’t even tell if it’s a pyjama top or a blouse. I really like this Stella McCartney burgundy blouse from My Wardrobe. You can either rent it out or buy it. The second one is my fav cut from Sezane.
4. A Breton style. It’s a stripy top first worn by the navy in Brittany which was made a classic by Coco Chanel, Audrey Hepburn and Pablo Picasso. Here are a couple of variations on the theme from COS and Toast.
Have you got any other ideas on which clothing style works well on screen? I’d love to hear them in the comments!
Love, Kay
