In my head I am still the age I was 15 yrs ago! What I didn’t realise was that this has affected how I shopped for clothes. I really hadn’t moved on from skinny jeans and a top, often bought in the wrong size!
My clothes shopping behaviour didn’t embrace the change in my body shape and hair colour. Plus with kids, my enjoyment and time I could devote to clothes shopping was limited.
I desperately wanted a bit of an update but wasn’t sure where to start. Kay has helped massively in getting me to move on. I learnt so much just going through my wardrobe with her. Her calm and approachable demeanour is exactly what you need when you pull out yet another old black jumper. She quickly spotted what was lacking in my wardrobe and the couple of pieces that really suited me that she could build on.
Having my colour charts done was a revelation! I was still in denial about moving from deep autumn colours to cool hues until Kay brought some tops and jumpers to our 2nd session. I could see exactly how the cool tones suited my new hair colour. Thanks for all your help.

I never considered having a stylist before as I thought that was for celebrities . My mum had Kay and said it was life changing so brought it for a gift for me and my two sisters! (Very lucky). I had mine on zoom and it worked extremely well. Before the session I had to sort my clothes into items, it made me think I don’t actually like any of my clothes, so what can she do as I didn’t want to buy any more, but thats not what happened Kay puts items/colours/layers in ways I would never and they worked so well. Every outfit has a photo taken for you to remember (now all inside my wardrobe). I could feel myself growing taller, smiling wider when an outfit worked! My personal shopping experience is usually a mixed bag of exhaustion, frustration and mild self deprecation. But with Kay it has been fun and productive - it felt amazing to visit boutiques that offer exactly what I have in mind. That is skills and knowledge at full play! More than that, she is super genuine and sincere. I can recommend without any reservation.

I have always struggled to do smart casual successfully. I find suits easy and I'm never happier than in jeans and t-shirt but everything in between is a disaster. My wardrobe was full of failed attempts to bridge the gap. Kay helped me find a style that suited me, put together outfits that worked from what I already had and then identified the couple of extra things that would fill the gaps. She also helped weed out the clothes that were never going to work from my wardrobe and helped me sell a bunch of them. She even did my colours so I could understand how I should be shopping in future.
We had a lot of fun going through my wardrobe (bizarrely - I thought I was going to hate this) and she really put me at ease. She also understood what my style was and didn't try to put me into anything that wasn't me.
It was a great experience and was immediately useful - twice that weekend I put her advice to good use and was really delighted (and surprised) at how easy it was.

Loved everything about Kay’s wardrobe edit and shopping experience. Feels like I have a completely new wardrobe with great fashionable and timeless items to combine it with. She gave me invaluable advice on styles, colours and helped me to properly declutter and donate items I had not worn and which did not add value to my wardrobe. I particularly love the photos of combinations of items - I consult them so many times when I need inspiration on what to wear. It is obvious how knowledgable Kay is in anything related to fashion and in addition she created a wonderful and focused setting for us to work together. Highly recommend the experience.

I received a mini session with Kay as a Christmas gift and it was lovely time spent. Kay asked me to prepare two outfits that I wanted to get her opinion on - in the end we went through half my professional work wardrobe. I feel like she was able to provide me with an honest, clear and logical opinion on how to better match/use my clothes. She gave very good tips on complementary accessories and paid attention to elongating shapes that look flattering. In addition, we spent time on understanding my colour scheme and what actually works for my hair colour and skin colour. Kay can help you utilize your wardrobe better!

I had the absolute privilege of having Kay to my home for a day of styling. When I first heard about this service I thought it was fantastic but thought I wouldn’t benefit as much as others. My mum then had this and it was such a success and she didn’t have to buy a single new item. She was so pleased that she got us all a day with Stylist Kay as a gift. I so get why now as you just want everybody to have this as it really is a game changer. I couldn’t believe the difference in Mum, rocking her normal clothes. I was so excited. Beforehand I put everything in piles and kept out stuff I wasn’t sure of. We went through and found out things I would have never have known. I now understand my proportions, I need bigger/ wider shoulders and an open neck even with a simple t shirt. I can match up diff combos with layering. Some clothes have been revived and I feel like I have got a whole new wardrobe. All the kept items go back into the wardrobe with a photo and it’s so simple. My colours were also new yet I instantly got it when I saw what worked. I use to choose clothes but then would save it for a better occasion. I now feel nice every day. I had too much and it was a mess. Kay will only style what you feel good in and to suit your style. So you are working with what you already have. However now I know what works for me it makes shopping so enjoyable and I can honestly say I have and will save a fortune going forward as I know what is good in type, style, colour and length! I also don’t feel guilty purchasing quality items as I know it will not be a waste. I also have all my outfit photos saved and printed, my colour chart in my bag and my pdf document of do’s and don’t’s on my phone. When I first heard I didn’t think this would be for me, but I can honestly say I don’t think there is a person who wouldn’t benefit from Kay. She is so talented and knows her stuff. She doesn’t just say what she likes but says what is best for the client. She is honest and just brilliant. No other friend or family member could do this for you and I think this is going to help me daily forever. I have been receiving compliments and it has been so nice “Thank you I have a stylist don’t you know!”.
